VV-PACS Community Correspondent Madhuri Chouhan reports on the hidden hunger in Sant Kabir Nagar's anganwadi.
The anganwadi workers are supposed to look after the children of the poorest landless and agricultural workers. But the Anganwadi worker and helper of Berdalitoda village have been secretly selling the ration which is meant to feed the children and pregnant women. From the past two months no Mid day meals have been served at the centre.
However, on being questioned by our Community Correspondent, Mithilesh Devi, anganwadi worker says 'We are not getting sufficient funds to prepare mid-day meals.'
Call to Action: Please call the P.S.A Officer on 9450756530 and ask him to order an equiry & ensure that mid-day meals in the centre are resumed.
