'None of the village elderly have ever received old age pension in Mahuadhana area of Dobe panchayat, Tamiya block, Chindwara district in Madhya Pradesh.' Our community correspondent Raju Parteti from the district documented the issue, taking testimonies from all the elderly in village. As per the elders, they have approached the village head a number of times and also went to the pension registration executive but to no avail. Both the secretary and the village head paid no attention to their woes. 'If the officers of Tamiya Block, representing the government of India, adopt such careless attitude towards its people, then who do we go to?
