When Vishakha Limbore went into labour and was brought to Saswad hospital, she was told by the doctors that her baby had died inside her womb and was asked to go to a private hospital to seek immediate care. However, at the private hospital, doctors said that there was nothing wrong with the mother or child. Vishakha’s delivery was normal. Due to the doctor’s misdiagnosis, Vishakha had to shell out a medical bill of Rs 16,000 at the private hospital. Her father in law had to loan his land and Vishakha’s jewelry to foot the bill.
