Human Trafficking, a Trade of Human Flesh I India Loud & Clear I EP 8

This week in India Loud & Clear we will talk about the ugly face of human trafficking.

After drugs and arms, human trafficking is the most global crime. UNICEF estimates that there are about 21 million trafficked people around the world. That’s the buying and selling of 21 million people, ending up as modern-day slaves. Mostly women and girls.

Do you know every 10 minutes a child goes missing in India?

Grace Jasmine takes you to the states of Jharkhand, Bihar, Delhi and West Bengal to tell the stories of trafficked girls, boys, and women. Hear the chilling voices of the brothers, fathers, and mothers, grieving for the loss of their missing beloved ones.

India Loud & Clear is the weekly news show produced by Video Volunteers, the media organization by and from Community Correspondents. We bring you no breaking news, no sensation, only community voices.
