Video Volunteers Teams Up With Social Organizations to Vaccinate Walhe Villagers

 

Walhe village, where our Community Correspondent and Field Producer Rohini Pawar works, has a population of 5,500. After setting up a full fledged COVID care facility in the village, Video Volunteers guided Rohini in collaborating with Bharatiya Jansangathna, a social organisation to vaccinate the entire population. About 2,000 people were vaccinated in the initial batch and the remaining villagers would all be vaccinated soon. 

The local population is well aware of the vaccine, and thankfully hasn't fallen for any rumors.
