Amit Kumar Mishra

Amit Kumar Mishra is a law graduate and human rights activist from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. His work has focused on labour rights, particularly on the unionisation and mobilisation of construction workers, and the implementation of welfare schemes for labourers. Amit has also worked to stop police torture of workers in cases of protests and arrests, and to stop child labour. Lately, he has also been working on gender sensitisation through videos on instances of sexual violence.
