Mahima Bhengra

Mahima comes from Palamu district of Jharkhand where world's first tiger-census was done not far from where she lives. Her village has almost no connectivity with the outside world and development in the region is only a bunch of statistics on a paper. She has worked with the Vikas Sanstha for 3 years and worked on issues of health, education and migration. With no proper schools and hospitals, everyday life is like a battle for the people of her community. She wants to document these challenges and bring these voices to the public
