47-year-old Maria Goreti Kujur is from Bokaro district, one of the most industrialized zones in India. Maria has more than 25 years of experience in the social development sector. She is currently also associated with Mahila Mitr Mandal where her role is to spread awareness among her community about the ills of the dowry system. As a video campaigner, she wants to work primarily on better implementation of government schemes & gender issues.
