Surjiya Bai

While other women in her village talked about cooking and sewing, Surjiya VV-PACS Correspondent from Dindori district, can talk endlessly about caste discrimination, forest rights and women’s empowerment. Having been denied the opportunity to go to school herself, she wants her children & other children in her village to get a proper education. This she believes is the only way forward for her people.
